The Honolulu Scottish Rite was deeply honored to celebrate a remarkable milestone in Masonic service with the presentation of a 50-Year Membership recognition to Illustrious Gary L. Liggitt, 33°.
Surrounded by Brethren and friends, Illustrious Liggitt was recognized for five decades of unwavering dedication to the Scottish Rite and to Freemasonry as a whole. Fifty years of membership represents not only longevity, but steadfast commitment—years marked by fellowship, leadership, mentorship, and devotion to the principles of the Craft.
As part of this distinguished recognition, Illustrious Liggitt was presented with a beautifully executed patent issued by the Supreme Council of the Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, S.J., U.S.A.. The patent was personally signed by the Grand Commander, Illustrious James D. Cole, 33°, underscoring the significance of this milestone and the esteem in which Illustrious Liggitt is held throughout the Rite.
In addition, as a visible symbol of his enduring commitment, Illustrious Liggitt was presented with his 50-Year hat. This special distinction serves as a lasting emblem of his half-century of faithful service—an outward sign of the quiet dedication, labor, and loyalty he has given to Freemasonry over the course of five decades.
