On Thursday, December 12, 2024, the Honolulu Scottish Rite Bodies held its much-anticipated annual Holiday Party, bringing together Scottish Rite Masons, family, and guests for an evening of fellowship and festivity.
Attendees enjoyed an exceptional holiday meal prepared by Illustrious David H. Gomes, 33°, and the Honolulu Scottish Rite Purveyors, whose culinary efforts added to the warmth of the occasion. The evening also welcomed distinguished Masonic leaders, including five sitting Worshipful Masters from Oahu’s seven Masonic Lodges and key leaders from the Grand Lodge of Hawaii. Among them were Honorable Brother Michael J.W. Lopez, KCCH, Deputy Grand Master, and Honorable Brother Chris Kaminaka, KCCH, Senior Grand Warden.
The presence of Masonic leaders from across the Hawaii Masonic Jurisdiction highlighted the interconnectedness and mutual support within the fraternity. Additionally, the valley’s own Illustrious Andrew L. Geiser, 33°, Sovereign Grand Inspector General of the Orient of Hawaii & Guam, graced the event with his presence, reinforcing the unity of Masonic leadership in the region.
This gathering was a heartwarming reminder of the enduring principles of Freemasonry, as well as the camaraderie, decency, and mutual respect that bind us together as a society.
A heartfelt mahalo to everyone who contributed to the success of this year’s holiday celebration. Here’s to continuing these cherished traditions in the years to come!
