The brethren of the Honolulu Scottish Rite Bodies recently gathered in fellowship and celebration for their annual Feast of Consistory, also known as the Feast of the Manifesto. This meaningful observance commemorates the formal establishment of the Scottish Rite as an organized Masonic body in 1801 in Charleston, widely regarded as the birthplace of the Scottish Rite in America.
Following the regular Stated Meeting of the bodies, brethren and guests convened downstairs in the banquet hall to enjoy an evening filled with warm fellowship, a delicious meal, and reflections on the rich history and enduring legacy of the Scottish Rite. The event provided an opportunity for members to deepen their appreciation for the origins of the Rite and the generations of Masons who have helped preserve its teachings and traditions for more than two centuries.
Throughout the evening, attendees heard presentations and remarks discussing the founding of the Scottish Rite and the significance of the 1801 Manifesto that helped shape the organization into the global Masonic institution it is today. The Feast of Consistory remains one of the Scottish Rite’s most cherished observances, serving as both a celebration of history and a reaffirmation of the bonds of brotherhood shared among its members.
Brethren and guests were also formally reminded that 2026 marks the 225th Anniversary of the Supreme Council, an important milestone in Scottish Rite history. As part of this historic celebration, a Special Session will be held and broadcast live from Charleston on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 2:00 PM ET.

The Honolulu Scottish Rite Bodies extend their gratitude to all who attended and helped make this year’s Feast of Consistory a memorable and meaningful evening dedicated to fellowship, history, and the enduring principles of the Scottish Rite.
