On May 31, 1801 at Shepheard’s Tavern in Charleston, South Carolina, the Supreme Council of the 33rd Degree for the United States of America, was opened with Grand Commander Col. John Mitchell presiding. You can read a more complete history HERE.
As part of the Supreme Council’s anniversary celebration, they published the first-ever sit-down interview with Scottish Rite Sovereign Grand Commander Jim Cole, 33°. In the three-part series, Grand Commander Cole reflects on his first five years in office and shares his journey to becoming the Grand Commander of the Mother Supreme Council of the World.
