In 2026, the Scottish Rite Valley of Honolulu received its first Valley Membership Achievement Project (VMAP) award plaque, recognizing its achievements during the preceding 2025 calendar year. This milestone celebrates the dedication of the Valley’s officers, volunteers, and Brethren to strengthening the Scottish Rite experience in Hawaiʻi.
VMAP is a program of the Supreme Council, 33°, Southern Jurisdiction, designed to help Valleys provide the best possible experience for their members. Managed at the Valley level, it encourages a thoughtful approach to building an active and welcoming Scottish Rite community, where Brethren can deepen their understanding of the Craft and find meaningful opportunities to participate.
For the Valley of Honolulu, this first plaque represents a shared accomplishment. A strong Valley depends on the contributions of many—from those who organize gatherings and support degree work to those who welcome new members and maintain connections with longtime Brethren. The recognition honors the collective effort behind a rewarding Masonic experience.
Although the plaque was awarded in 2026, it recognizes the Valley’s work throughout 2025. That distinction makes the award both a celebration of past accomplishments and an encouragement to continue building upon them.
Mahalo to all who contributed to this achievement. As the Valley of Honolulu looks ahead, its first VMAP award plaque stands as a proud reminder of what committed Brethren can accomplish together through fellowship, education, and service.
