33° SGIGs and Deputies

Active members of the Supreme Council are known as Sovereign Grand Inspectors General (SGIG), with each serving as the leader of the Rite in their respective Orient. Those who lead the various Orients but are not active members of the Supreme Council are referred to as Deputies of the Supreme Council. Throughout the past 150 years, Hawaii has been served by a total of fifteen Deputies and two Sovereign Grand Inspectors General (SGIGs) within the Supreme Council. An asterisk alongside a secondary year indicates the election of a Deputy to serve as Sovereign Grand Inspector General (SGIG).
