On Saturday, October 18, 2025, the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, Orient of Hawaii & Guam, convened a distinguished assembly at the Honolulu Scottish Rite Cathedral for the Investiture of the Knight Commanders of the Court of Honour (KCCH). This solemn and dignified occasion celebrated the recognition of exemplary service, leadership, and devotion to the ideals of the Scottish Rite.
The evening commenced with the Ceremony of Investiture, attended by candidates, their families, and honored guests. The ceremony, steeped in tradition and reverence, was followed by an Honours Banquet, where members, spouses, and friends gathered in fellowship to commemorate the accomplishments of the newly invested Knights Commanders.
At the Supreme Council’s Biennial Session, select 32° Scottish Rite Masons, who have held that degree for a minimum of four years and have rendered distinguished and faithful service to the Rite, are chosen to receive the Rank and Decoration of Knight Commander of the Court of Honour. This honor, conferred through an investiture within the local Valleys, stands as a profound acknowledgment of the recipient’s steadfast commitment and contributions.
It is important to note that the Knight Commander of the Court of Honour is not an additional degree, but rather a mark of distinction bestowed by the Supreme Council upon those whose service and character exemplify the highest tenets of Freemasonry. Recipients are henceforth formally designated as 32° KCCH, a title that signifies honor, humility, and continued dedication to the noble work of the Scottish Rite.
